Lockave vs Qustodio

Updated October 2026

Qustodio and Lockave both help parents manage screen time, but they cover different devices and work differently. Here’s a fair side-by-side, including when Qustodio is the better fit.

We compared publicly available information as of October 2026. Features and prices change, so check each product’s own site before you decide. If something here is out of date, tell us at support@lockave.com and we’ll fix it.

Choose Qustodio if…

  • You need blocking on phones and tablets, especially Android. Lockave doesn’t block on phones yet.
  • You want one tool across many kinds of device, including Chromebooks and Kindles.

Choose Lockave if…

  • The fights are about computers: YouTube, games and sites in the browser, and switching to another browser on a Windows PC.
  • You want a separate daily allowance per site (an hour of YouTube, 30 minutes of TikTok) rather than one overall limit.
  • You want limits that are hard to undo on impulse: loosening waits 10 minutes, and removing the extension sends an alert.
  • You want to start free and add paid features only if you need them.

Using both

Some families use Qustodio, or the phone’s own controls, for phones, and Lockave for the computers. They don’t conflict.
